Hi ,

Interestingly the therapists and the teachers have not really said much. My

daughter actually has been more assertive at school lately and wanting her own

way so they are considering this as behaviours. She is trying to speak more

though and is using two word combinations more but like I said also causing

them grief. Hopefully this will stop soon and she will do great in her

academics and pay more attention to her work rather than trying to get out of

work.

As she has been sick though I am dying to see how things go once she is over her

cold. Hopefully her academics will pick up more and so will her speech and I

will get lots of great reports.

She is currently in a regular school and is in grade 4 but has an EA by her side

all day long and she is in a modified program. She follows the regular

curriculum but they make it easier for her and have pictures and an aid with her

as she cannot communicate well.

As for her absence seizures for us these were controlled by medication but every

so often you would see one small one break through as she is on a low dosage of

seizure meds. So far I have not seen any small break through ones yet but she

has not been on Nutriiveda long though. I am hoping they will be gone. I will

discuss this with her neurologist next time I see her.

Thanks so much for answering my questions. It is always so comforting to know

you are all out there and we have one common goal-- to help our children.

I will continue to keep a log and report back to you all every so often to

update you.

One funny thing my daughter did yesterday was go to the kitchen, grab the

container of Nutriiveda off of the counter and bring it to me so she could have

some and said (eat). I guess it has her seal of approval :-)

I do have one more question though, do you think I should start my daughter on

Pro EPA and Pro EFA again ?

New stuff today- When you tell her to look at you she will now look at you right

into the eyes. My husband mentioned this today that he has noticed it much more.

So it looks like she is trying to focus more. That is great ! She has also been

pulling at her tongue a lot and playing with it.

Thanks,

Demi

Hi Demi!

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner- AT & T cut my Comcast internet underground

line by mistake and it's harder to work off my phone. (ckrupa sp? I think I may

have accidentally pressed delete vs approve on your message to Anni! -please

repost -sorry)

First of all congratulations on all you are seeing in your daughter! What has

her teachers or therapists said about her speech surges? Since she's 10 what

grade is she in -what level? Mainstream?. ..any improvements in academics???

Have you noticed a decrease of seizures or better question since being on the

nutriiveda have you noticed any seizures as all? You say your 10 year old

daughter reminds you of Mel and Mel who is now 26 years old has been seizure

free since starting the nutriiveda 2 months ago. Mel's doctors have lowered her

meds (Depakot) 3 times now. Previous to this Mel had to be hospitalized twice

and almost died twice of seizures in the past few years- so the end of seizures

is quite profound.

Here's a collection of other things that are being reported -please let me know

if you are also seeing surges in any of the following areas as well. Unlike the

fish oils we this time have a company that wants to hear the testimonies and is

willing to research and validate what we are seeing. Since it's in days there

has to be some scientific and logical explanation.

SPEECH articulation, complexity and sophistication of sentence structure

LANGUAGE better understanding of written and spoken word, development of better

reading and writing skills

ACADEMICS/LEARNING reported surges in all areas of school

FINE AND GROSS MOTOR SKILLS also multi tasking

SENSE OF HUMOR both catching subtle humor and wanting to make others

laugh-joking around

AWARENESS OF SURROUNDINGS (for autism) reported following gaze and

moreinteractions

FACIAL EXPRESSIONS (for those with oral apraxia) instead of blank stares when

not engaged in conversation (non verbal expressions)

FOCUS on task, more willing to listen and try

MULTI TASKING (for apraxia as this is something typically not done or done well)

SOCIAL wanting to participate with others via play and communication

MOOD reported seems " happier " for a number

DEVELOPMENTAL CATCHING UP for those that never went through stages -reportedly

going through them for the first time.

DECREASE IN SEIZURES so far in one case elimination of any seizures and

headaches and decrease in seizure meds as well

Outside of the highest quality isolate protein, essential amino acids and

nutrients -we also can't forget the ayurvedic aspect to answer your questions.

Here are the answers to your questions:

1) is Nutriiveda hard on the kidneys or liver. I am just wondering as she is on

a seizure med and so I want to make sure there is no overload.

First answer from the scientific board

" The product shouldn't be hard on the kidney or liver, Amalaki has actually been

know to help protect liver function. Many of the botanicals have been shown to

help improve and enhance digestion. We have received many testimonials regarding

improvement in many different digestive conditions with the Zrii NutriiVeda.

Also, we are currently not aware of any medications the interact negatively with

NutriiVeda, although, we always suggest individuals speak with their doctors

before using NutriiVeda if they have pre-existing conditions. "

2) She also does not like to drink a lot so is that ok when using Nutriiveda ? I

have been putting her Nutriiveda in apple sauce and she loves it. It tastes just

like chocolate pudding.

Many of the parents are mixing the nutriiveda into food vs liquid. This is fine

but you want to make sure your daughter drinks enough water throughout the day.

I have lots of friends who are big into body building and this is common

knowledge of anyone using protein powders.

3) As well, can Nutriiveda cause yeast symptoms and or can it help heal the gut.

We answered this the other day but here it is again: the chromium, molybdenum,

iodine, selenium, and manganese yeast are all inactive and as I was told could

be taken even by someone who has a candida problem. They are there as a natural

way to get the nutrients chromium, molybdenum, iodine, selenium, and manganese.

As far as healing the gut I'd say we are all getting the best possible all

around signs of improvements we've ever seen -regular bowels included. Only

research will validate if it's healing the gut, the brain, and/or exactly why

it's working.

As you probably know by now with a 10 year old apraxic -yes they regress in

speech and motor skills when tired or sick. The fact that you are seeing surges

during this time is a double wow. Please do keep us updated and.....

CONGRATULATIONS! !! Please do continue to update us and again let me know about

those few questions I ask above.

For those that have emailed me in private as I had trouble getting back to

everyone today -if you want to purchase to support Cherab for PUFA research

please purchase the nutriiveda at http://www.pursuito fresearch. org or

http://www.nutraeas y.com for the wholesale 80 for two canister price which is

our cost. For those that wish to purchase elsewhere you can also purchase direct

from the Chopra Center and pay retail for two canisters -95 dollars instead of

80. http://store. chopra.com/ productinfo. asp?item= 708 If you are an

international customer or just want to purchase one canister to try at wholesale

40 each you can also order from http://www.speech41 1.com

Any research on the nutriiveda will not have to be funded by us as the company

has already expressed interest in validating what we are seeing. Thank you!
