Guest guest
Hi, I'm starting my 24mth old little boy on the Nordic Naturals Pro-EFA, and then in a month or so will start adding the EPA. Should I use the EPA (45% EPA / 10% DHA, 64% Total Omega-3) or the EPA xtra (58% EPA / 15% DHA, 84% Total Omega-3)The EPA xtra says highest EPA concentration for maximum benefit. Also, what should the dosage of the EPA be? As per 's advice, I will be using 1/2 teaspoon of the EFA (equal to two capsules). Thanks for any help. I'm really looking forward to putting my boy on the oils, and hope I see the same sort of benefit from it that many of you do.
Guest guest
For both the ProEFA and the ProEPA you want the regular not the xtra. I know for many of us it's like if it's working -let's add more...but more isn't always better as we know and as we found. In almost all cases you want the regular not the Jr. either unless you are teaching your child how to swallow the capsules or need a half dosage. Other than that it's twice as expensive for essentially a cuter bottle. Good for us anyway as the regular ProEPA is the one we found the most success with and is cheaper too! =====
