NN Pro-EFA = Omega 3 6 9. Yes, they are the same:

" Nordic Naturals makes a number of oils...the Omega 369 is the commercial line

sold in stores of the same professional line not sold in stores called ProEFA.

ProEFA is slighly cheaper as you get 90 capsules per bottle vs. 60 "

from Fish Oils 101 (here:

Hope it helps!

[ ] Nordic Naturals Pro-EFA is it the same as

Nordic Naturals Omega 3 6 9?

Hi, I live in Australia and have been having an extremely hard time getting

hold of a bottle of the Nordic Naturals Pro-EFA liquid.

I spoke with a practioner who works at the company here that distributes

Nordic Natural products. He told me that they presently are out of stock, and

wouldn't be getting anymore for a few months (apparently there is not much of a

demand for this particular product here in Australia).

He also went on to tell me that the Pro-EFA is really only available by

prescription here, although I have found 2 Australian websites that sell it (he

said they really shouldn't be doing this). These 2 websites are currently out of

stock too.

He then went on to tell me that Nordic Naturals produce a product called Omega

3 6 9 in a liquid, and that it was exactly the same as the Pro-EFA - and that

Nordic Naturals bought out the product under this name (Omega 3 6 9) so that it

was more readily available to the general public.

Can anyone tell me about this, and if what he is saying is in fact correct? I

can easily obtain a bottle of the Omega 3 6 9 liquid. Thanks in advance for any

information that you may be able to give me.

Hi,

Here's a link for the capsules which are supposed to be better. The liquid loses

it's potency because every time you open the bottle the air degrades it. Also

you must keep in the fridge or freezer once opened.

Just pierce or puncture with the tip of a sharp paring knife to dispense. It's

better to add to purees than drinks since the oil sticks to the sides of the

glass. Squeeze some of the capsule until empty onto a spoonful of food.
