Guest guest
I have a strange question. My 5 YO son LOVES sour candy. This started about 2 years ago when a therapist used them as a way to wake up his mouth. Today we tried the most sour candy I have ever tasted and couldn't take it! I started coughing and my eyes were watering but my son didn't even wince!!!! Does apraxia affect the tastebuds on the tongue? Has anyone noticed this? Guest guest
I think its just what the kids can take. My 12yo and 5yo, very typical sons, can eat the most sour candies they can find in the store, whereas my 9yo Apraxia daughter can take the milder ones, but not the extreme sour, neither can I. Its just the kids, nothing to do with apraxia!! > > I have a strange question. My 5 YO son LOVES sour candy. This started about 2 years ago when a therapist used them as a way to wake up his mouth.
