Robin, thanks again for sharing this with all of us!!! I am so happy for

!!  I was wondering do you also use fish oils with and if you

do is it Pro EFA and Pro EPA and the additional Vitamin E.

I am wondering if this will produce bigger surges with the Nutriiveda  ?

Thanks,

Demi

Today has been on Nutriiveda for two months. The changes are incredible

to say the least. In addition to the increase in talking, motor skills,

independence in her daily living which is all incredible in itself,

continues to be PTSD and Seizure free. Life has become so easy as we can go and

do any activity that we want as a family once again. We have not had that

privilege for over 10 years. I use the word privilege because once something is

taken away and taken away for so long and you receive it back it feels like a

privilege.

continues to wake up each morning happy and well rested. She is chatting

a lot each day and really trying to say new words. Yesterday she was talking

about Mindy and I asked her where Mindy was and she said with a sad face " Mindy

went away " Mindy has left for college and we are missing her. never has

said the word away and also at the same time with a sad face. She's starting to

multi task! Mindy and are very close and I know Mindy being away at

college makes sad but in the past would always say school. I

wonder how many times really wanted to say the word away with a sad face

and yesterday she was able to.

For some of you that wonder about how many therapists we have seen with Mel over

the years, I can not tell you how many speech therapists we have seen in the

past with little or no success. I'm not blaming the therapists who time after

time grew frustrated in the little to no progress in Mel, but month after month,

year after year with so little progress wears on anyone -even us. I truly had

given up on even trying to find yet another therapist that would be able to work

with let alone willing to work with in our area.

I wish we had our own cheerleaders - " Cherab Cheers " !!

Its so so inspiring to read about and your energy to keep looking for

more avenues for Mel.

You are absolutely right, nutriiveda has turned around things. Its been a little

over a month when my son has been on it continuoulsy.

So this morning when I was applying lotion to his arms, he wiggled, and he said

something which sounded like cold. Since I was not sure what he said I asked him

if he said it was hot...he looked at me with a strange expression[which looked

like " are you kidding!!!] and said " cold " very clearly. IT was too good to

beleive...We or any of our therapist have never worked with him to say the word

" cold " nor has he expressed any feelings like, sad or happy before!!! I am just

so blown away.....

No wonder it is snowing in Dallas!!!

Hi Demi,

Thanks Demi for your e-mail. I was just speaking with Soymya about

beginning on the fish oils. In the past we did not see any

changes, but now I am wondering if there would be some changes.

what are your thoughts on beginning on the fish oils

especially since she is going to begin speech therapy in less than two

weeks.

Thanks,

Robin

Robin I would not start Mel on the fish oils until after she's been in speech

therapy with this new therapist for at least a few weeks so she can get a handle

on where Mel is -her progress etc. Enough time has gone by to again try it- but

it's too close to meeting with the new therapist and right now it's not broken

-so I'm nervous about you doing anything to change the equation. I can't wait

to hear the updates once Mel starts therapy again -and how cool that we will be

able to watch them as you will be video taping them! So exciting!

And for anyone else just want to clarify -Mel has not been on fish oils and was

never been a big responder. I left both my boys on the fish oils who do awesome

on the oils on them with the Nutriiveda.

Hope that helps!
