Seeking Private Prompt-certified speech therapist in NYC

Hi all - my 39 month old son has mild aprapxia - motor and verbal. He has been

recieving EI, and now CPSE, speech, ot and pt. He was diagnosed at 24 months.

He's doing really well, but i can't help but think if we could get MORE speech

he'd do better. He only gets 2 x 30 under CPSE; with EI he had 3 x 30. And

they didn't give him any over the summer. I've seen a great slide backwards.

Instead of hiring an attorney and fighting the powers that be at CPSE, we think

we'd rather use the money towards a private SLP. But we can't find anyone who

will come to our home!!!

I have 3 kids, and already take the boy to speech 2x, ot 2x and pt 2x a week.

I'm running all over and the girls are feeling it - and they need some attention

too. I only know of 2 prompt certified slp, both would want us to come to them,

and they are based downtown which would mean yet more travel.

ANY leads would be much appreciated. We live in Northern Manhattan literally

right over the GW bridge so would even work for a New Jersey slp. Even once

more a week i think would be great for him. Prompt certified, willing to come to

the home... sigh. Maybe too much to ask?
