Guest guest
Very likely the Omegas are working. Many parents report this. Clear indicator that there are metabolic problems at the root of his lack of speech. This is wonderful news Tania it means there's a lot of hope! Just take it one step at a time. And yes soemtimes they do plateau after a while and people increase the dose slightly, play around with it a little, add a little more of this or that--there are great archives on this list on how to do that. And then gradually you will discover other things that improve his metabolic functioning--the Nutriiveda may be one of them for him as well. And then you'll also probably start wondering why---and then he'll stand the best chances to make progress as you'll come up with the best treatment protocol for him when you start looking for more answers. But you already have your doctor apt. soon --right?--That should give you more clues. Good luck! Elena From: rubykatee <ttaniaa0000@...> Subject: [ ] Could I see the result of fish oil this soon? Date: Saturday, February 13, 2010, 1:45 AM Hi there, My 24mth old boy has been on the Pro-EFA for just four days (2.5ml - the equivalent of 2 capsules). Today there were definitely new sounds coming from him. He jumped out at me from behind the curtain and said boo - he never attempts to speak with out having to be encouraged. He also has managed to make the sound 't' as of today, said 'doe' as in dough (playdough) and just an hour or so back said 'narn' for bannana - also without needing any encouragement. I was wondering if it would be too early for the omega to be having any affect on him? He is essentially non verbal, with very limited consonant sounds. This was just so much to have happen to him in one day! I'd like to think that it was the omega starting to work its wonders, but don't really know? What are your opinions on this? ------------------------------------
