Guest guest
thanks Sowmya. i'll try both and maybe have a higher chance with the pudding type. See, that's the thing that i don't get.....he LOVES the fish oil straight up! So i guess i'll bring out my bag of tricks to get him to take it by positive reinforcement! Haven't had to do that in a while so i'm a little rusty, but like a bike I'm sure i'll get the hang of it again!!! thanks again sandy ________________________________ From: sow <sowk721@...> Sent: Fri, February 12, 2010 2:28:45 PM Subject: [ ] Creative ways to give nutriiveda  , awesome receipes!!! I just changed the topic so that it is eays to find in our archives[hope it is ok]. Sandy, I mix the nutriiveda in 4-5 tblsp of mango pulp with 1-11/2 cups of water and use a blender.Just a quick whip. Sometimes I add homemade yogurt to the above. I have even tried it with Langers Mango juice. Mango is the only flavor he likes!! I remember Robin mentioning that she mixes the 2 scoops in water in a pudding consistency. After is done taking it she drinks the remaing water. Since your son likes lots of things you can use it as a reinforcer to push the nutriiveda!! Start with one scoop so that he develops the taste for it. It sure is better than fish oil - taste wise!!! sowmya > > Sandy just wanted to share that my two boys had a very different initial reaction to the nutriiveda. While Tanner didn't love it to start as I shared- kind of tasted to me too like healthy chocolate -maybe too much like dark chocolate (which is why my husband thought we were nuts and thought it was delicious) Tanner would drink it but we doctored it up by adding other stuff to the drink - Tanner LOVES it now, will drink it mixed with just water even - and asks for it. > > Dakota on the other hand it was from the start pulling teeth. Guest guest
I have a hard time too giving it to my two year old. Ut we have been giving it with cheerios and milk... I just have been feeding him the cereal so I make sure he gets it. Another way is nixed with cream cheese or peanut. Buutter in a sanwich or in a pita....
