Guest guest
Can someone please clarify for me the doseages of ProEPA & ProEFA you are giving to a 3 1/2year old who weighs 38lbs. My confusions comes into play because this group recommends more EPA than DHA however most of the DAN doctors like Dr. McCandless (author of Starving Brains) recommend more DHA than EPA for our kids with Autism and Apraxia. Below is an email send by Dr. McCandless regarding her recommendation: > > Nordic Naturals Omega is higher in EPA than DHA. For our kids with autism, we typically want the reverse. High DHA and lower EPA. The reason for this: EPA is for cardio health (great for adults with heart problems) but DHA crosses the blood-brain- barrier and is great for brain health. Thanks again to a confused grandmother hoping to make a difference for our little angel.
