I must have missed something, but what is the significance of this in regard to

Apraxia? Also, can I have a link to the study, please? Thank you!!

female mice will experience similar effects.

Hi Hillary- understandable as the title is probably throwing you off. The media

and the study focused on increased life span as that is more relevant to the

general population; where the interest/money is. If you read even just the

following media article where they mention " better motor coordination " or the

link to the summary of the paper where they state 'BCAAem supplementation

increased mitochondrial biogenesis and sirtuin 1 expression in primary cardiac

and skeletal myocytes " (the BCAAem is this amino acid mix) and dig a bit deeper

you will find this is all extremely relevant to this group.

Here is a link to the summary of the paper published in Cell Metabolism

http://www.cell.com/cell-metabolism/abstract/S1550-4131%2810%2900304-9 you can

search for more on this all over the net right now -just put in the key words it

comes right up.

You can read as well about how essential amino acids are directly linked to mice

with traumatic brain injury here as all of the amino acids mentioned are in NV

aaah when I try to write too fast -redo of last paragraph!!

You can read as well about how essential amino acids are directly linked to

NEURO REPAIR (uh key words left out! but they also found improvements in

cognitive function/memory etc) in mice with traumatic brain injury here; all of

the amino acids mentioned in all of these studies are in NV as it contains all

of the essential amino acids from food http://pursuitofresearch.org/science.html

Thank you so much! I am new to all of this and without the whole thing to read I

was really confused! I am extremely interested in this because my son is vegan,

and amino acids are something I focus on in his diet constantly. Any new

information is especially helpful in that respect. He was also a vacuum

extraction and well, I guess we'll never know about the damage there, but I can

never discount the idea!

Thanks again,

Hillary (Elias, almost 3, diagnosed as " probable " apraxia)
