Guest guest
I was wondering if someone could tell me something about dosage of DHA for my son. He's been diagnosed with Apraxia, ADHD, Disruptive Behavior Disorder and he's in OT 3 times a week and ST 4 times a week. He's 3 (as of Jan 1st) and I just started giving him Nordic Naturals Children's DHA soft gels. He gets 4 a day and he loves them. I have seen a lot of people chatting about Pro-Efa and Omega 3-6-9. Does anyone know which one would be best for my son? I really would like to do what may help him the most. He's starting to really start babbling and making different noises...we are so excited for him. Thanks for any info you can give. Guest guest
Hi, Lindsey! NN Pro-EFA and NNOmega 3 6 9 are the same: " Nordic Naturals makes a number of oils...the Omega 369 is the commercial line sold in stores of the same professional line not sold in stores called ProEFA. ProEFA is slighly cheaper as you get 90 capsules per bottle vs. 60 " Fish oil: here it's explained what has been working for a lot of people in this group: http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=115029735601 & topic=7401 You should also read the fish oils files in this, our group: /links/Essential_Fatty_A\ cid_001183256126/ And remember the Files in this group are in the Links section: /links (TONS of info to read, I found so many answers that!) Just a thought that crossed my mind (if you don't mind): your little one is too young --if he has verbal apraxia/dyspraxia, that alone implies *tons* of frustration, that will *look* like hyperactivity, disruption, etc., etc. (you find in this group others' kids misdiagnose as autistic too). Again, excuse me, I know you didn't ask about that LOL Hope it helps! M. [ ] DHA and Apraxia I was wondering if someone could tell me something about dosage of DHA for my son.
