Guest guest
Hi there, I was just reading over some of the NV posts, and noticed, with interest about the comments you had on the SPEAK - in particular the regression. Now here is my concern. After a week on fish oil I noticed huge improvements in my 24mth son. Two days ago I started him on NV. I actually only managed to get a half dose into him on day one, and the second day couldn't get any into him. I noticed yesterday afternoon/evening, that all the sounds and word approximations that he had gained, and been using for about 4 days seemed to have disappeared. As I've read that there are regressions if the use of NV is stopped, I was wondering for how long this would be the case - as you mentioned on stopping the SPEAK your boy kept his regressions for 7mths. If you were using NV and then stopped would a child return to where he was prior to the use of it (unlike the SPEAK)? I'm a little concerned about putting him back to where he was prior to the fish oils if I am unable to get the NV into him on a regular, daily basis. Thanks for any help you may be able to offer on this.
