Guest guest
Hi all, My nutriiveda arrived today - only 1wk after placing the order!! Thanks for helping me out with that . As far as I can tell, we will be one of the first here in Australia to start using it. I have made several phonecalls to professionals of all description here - and no one knows anything about it. Also, have made numerous posts on 'parenting' forums here with the same result. I can't wait to start trying this on my little boy Kobi - and hopefully have the same success that so many of you are. We started on the NN Pro-EFA about a week ago, and I am already seeing great results. He has gone from no words (or even an attempt at words), and only about 4 consonant sounds, to making more sounds and trying to form words. He can now say moo, baa, muma, bur(bird), boo, narna (bannana), dar(dark) and da(dad). In just a week!! I'm truly amazed as was his PROMPT therapist today. Just wanted to double check - I give him 2scoops of nutriiveda a day right? Initially, I'm going to try the chocolate one with choc milk and icecream (my boy is an extremely poor eater so my options are somewhat limited). The vanilla I thought I could add into his formula (he has a few bottles during the night - which I've been advised to continue with for now due to the poor eating). Could you forsee any problems in mixing it with his formula - providing I did it when it was cold? So looking forward to tomorrow when he has his first lot. I will post of our progress in 4 or 5 days. At this point in time it appears that expressive speech is his only problem (although I am aware that any soft signs may be more noticed when he gets a little older). Motor skills seem great, very social, all other milestones were met early, rarely becomes upset by anything. At this stage, an all round happy and well behaved little boy - for a 24mth old lol.
