Guest guest
I would use more oz. of milk than 4oz, that way, the NV isn't that strong in it and it's easier to swallow. I usually fill up a sippy cup per one scoop of NV. Just a suggestion. Romesa The NV Sheriff 334-220-8140 romesa1@...________________________________ From: " baba_blacksheep@... I ordered the vanilla because I thought it would be easier to " disguise " in food. So first I tried it in milk to see if Spencer would drink it. I put one scoop in 4 ozs. of milk because it said a serving size is 8 ozs. and two scoops. My son is 3, so I am going by the guidelines that say a scoop per day. Anyway, Spencer drank a few sips of the " milkshake " as I called it then said he was done. My daughter bel (typically developing) drank a few sips also. I have to admit it didn't taste that great mixed in milk. Then I put half a scoop in chocolate pudding (Kozy Shack brand) and Spencer took about 3 or 4 big bites, which I thought was pretty good. My other kids loved the pudding and ate the rest of it up, no problem. I think Spencer is smart enough to suspect that something is " up " LOL. He is NOT a kid who easily goes along with what you WANT him to do. So I probably got about 1/4 to 1/2 a scoop in him today, which isn't bad for the first day, I guess. It is funny because he was NOT a picky eater until age 3. Before that, he was my good eater-he would eat Indian and Thai food and all sorts of things. His twin Truman was the one who was very picky. Now Truman is doing better and will eat most of his dinner (if he knows he will get dessert!) while Spencer oftens picks at dinner and sometimes will eat absolutely nothing for dinner. Spencer is a very healthy weight and height so I have never really worried about this, but his twin brother is a little pea who weighs 26 lbs. soaking wet at 3 years. So it is just funny that Spencer is now my picky one. I am going to try a milkshake tomorrow. Any other ideas? Again, he is a kid who KNOWS if you are trying to pull one over on him, so I know it will be hard to get the stuff into him every day.
