Guest guest
Contact Cochlear directly and they will send a new one out to you. Remember, however, they are on Mountain time. Guest guest
Hi: You have probably already taken care of this, but call Cochlear and speak to the Hear always dept. Cochlear is great in handling problems. Guest guest
Hi Jeane, You're hearing a lot more now than you did before, and since you are hearing from both sides, you must also be picking up more background noise to filter through. That could well be the cause of " auditory fatigue " . Try turning off your older implant and just listening with the new one for a while and see if that helps. I have a question for everyone, have you expeirenced auditory fatigue and how did you deal with it? im going through it now and its taking alot out of me, and what i dont get is i didnt go through this when i just had the one. Guest guest
You should be taking some NAE - and buy some liquorice from your health food store, along with Siberian Ginseng. All these will help your adrenals. How are you feeling being off Armour - I think you are so brave? Luv - Sheila A question As you may or may not know I am holding back on the Armour (on doctors command/blackmail) for a few weeks until I get a blood test. Can you tell me wheher it would be prudent for me to be takng some NAE whilst I am without Armour to help the adrenals? And, if I did take NAE would it make any different to the blood test results? Guest guest
Nope. The part of your stomach that they save is muscular and does not stretch the way the other part does. Five year stats shows it is not stretching beyond what is expected and wanted. Guest guest
Hi , Very well said. I agree if I spend over $9,000 of my hard earned dollars I am going to be changing a lot of things about my eating habits. I think we need to learn that feeling of what full feels like NOT being stuffed. I had someone refer to it as Head Hunger and boy that made a lot of sense. Surgery is part, put the BIGGEST part it changing old bad habits. Thanks for sharing and take care and 90 lbs WOW that is wonderful! Guest guest
Hi deepthi, You are to " Add 1.8 ml to a 500mg vial of Rocephin " New C = 250mg/1ml If there are 500 mg in the bottle Then 500 mg = 2 ml (use ratio proportion to figure this out) But if you added only 1.8 ml to the powedered drug Where did the other 0.2 ml come from? OR How did you end up with 2ml? Answer: The powdered drug has its own volume! So 2 ml – 1.8 ml = 0.2 ml Total volume – Volume added = Powder Volume Hope this helps! Guest guest
Dear , I will repost an edited version of your question: " How many 500-mg metronidazole tablets will be needed to compound the following prescription for a patient: metronidazole 3%, suspending agent 30%, simple syrup 40% qsad H2O to 150ml? 3 % = 3 grams / 100 ml But how many grams for 150 ml? Set up a ratio proportion 3 grams--------X grams ---------- = ---------- 100 ml---------150 ml 3 x 150/100 = 4.5 grams 4.5 grams = 4500 mg How many 500 mg tablets fo metronidazole will be needed for a total of 4500mg metronidazole? 4500mg/500mg/tablet Or 1 tablet------X tablets --------- = ---------- 500 mg--------4500 mg 4500/500 = 9 tablets Answer it will take 9 tablets to be triturated, then all other ingredients will be added and incorporated to make the suspension after that the remainder will be qsad H20 to 150ml. Further each 16.67 ml will equal one 500 mg metronidazole table or one dose. Further Metronidazole is an anti-infective drug that can kill some bacteria, some fungi, some yeast, and some protozoa.
