Guest guest
Hi Jeanetta, for the following allegation i did the same method u told.but iam not getting the answer. Can you please solve this problem for me.I will be very thank full to u. How many grams of 2.5% lidocaine jelly should be mixed with 360 gm of 0.25% lidocaine jelly to make a 1% jelly. Guest guest
How many grams of 2.5% lidocaine jelly should be mixed with 360 gm of 0.25% lidocaine jelly to make a 1% jelly. 2.5% --------0.75 ----------------- x ? = of 2.5% 180 --------------2.25 ----- 1% ------------1.5 0.25% ---------- x ? = 360 mg of 0.25% 0.54 -------------2.25 Solve for ? which tells us the total number of gn in final jelly 1.5 --- x ? = 0.36 gm of 0.25% 2.25 0.36 gm x 2.25 ---------------------- = ? 1.5 ? = 0.54 gm of 1% Total jelly 0.54gm total(2.5 + 0.25) - 0.36 gm (0.25) = 0.18 gm (2.5%) The KEY to the above is that 360 mg = 0.36 grams and in the alligation grams must be used. Guest guest
The number 360 in question itself is GM.no need to convert that agian to GM right. Guest guest
Dear depthi, You are correct! The problem reads 360 GRAMS not 360 mg. No excuse, but I was trying to do the math when I was very sleepy! I should have waited until this am where I see this very clearly. HOWEVER, that being said your answer of 120 gm is incorrect! Thank you for pointing out my error. Hope the feeling is mutual! I will show the correct math in my next email! Guest guest
Hi, I've been on LDN since mid-June. I suffer from ME/CFS and one of my worst symptoms is non restorative sleep. For about the first six weeks on LDN my sleep improved dramatically, although I had intense dreaming in the early a.m. from the beginning. I take a bunch of other meds and supplements for sleep, too. But in the past week to ten days my sleep quality is tanking. I think I'd read that for some it's recommended to take a short break from LDN, say 3-5 days. I'm not sure of this. I didn't take it last night, but still had poor sleep quality and intense dreaming. When my sleep goes on a regular basis I'm at my wit's end. Wondering if anyone had any thoughts about this, I guess particularly regarding the value of an LDN vacation. It's really the only trick left up my sleeve. I can't raise any of my other meds any higher than I'm on now. Thanks, michael

Guest guest
Not a question but a comment which 'a later in life' dad used to say to me pretty much every time he saw me. I say later in life dad as his son was 18, I was 16, but his dad was like 62, ya know, an old geezer bot:P. And this was his comment: " Grady, you should sue the city? " Why is that Walt? " Because they built the sidewalk too close to your a*s! Haha..., " he would laugh.... Once was OK, twice, thrice.... OK, Walt, I got it. I should sue the city!! Or, I would go to a party with my male (ap) friends and there would be females there, of course, or we wouldn't have gone:P. But, one or two would always end up embarrassing me, or at least try. One or two would say something something like this to a girl or girls, " You should go over and sit on Grady's lap. Wait, he doesn't have one. Wow, it really does suck to be a dwarf! Haha, they'd laugh. " But, actually that would backfire on them as most then would come over to me and be sympathetic, and end up talking to me the most:D. ~grady
Guest guest
Right after asked me to grow old with him we went to a Halloween party where we ran into a friend of his and the friend's lady friend. The lady obviously had eyes only for because after introductions, with me standing right there she told she'd always fantisized about " being with a little guy " . I looked her straight in the eye and said " So have I " . She finally realized I was there, turned red, said " You and he... " , stuttered a bit, and when I said " Yes " she apologized profusely. I had to bite my lip to keep from laughing at her then and there! Guest guest
Like many odd things that can happen to people, even those taking nothing at all, hair loss has been questioned previously as a possible side-effect of LDN. From memory it turned out to be due to something else (thyroid issue??? haven't got time to search) but most people find on LDN their hair and nails grow faster and better. On 28/10/2010 5:37 PM, Brittany Jayde Blackwell wrote: Hi everyone, I started LDN on August 2nd starting at 1.5 mg and I am up to 3 mg. now. My husband made a mistake and mistakenly put the dose to 4 mg. and the side effects were really bad. I have been taking Eltroxin for close to 30 years at 1.mg. My Dr. did a blood test which showed the meds had to be reduced so the dose was lowered to ..88 mg with a retest for mid-December. The problem I'm having is that my hair is falling out a lot. I had very thick hair, long but so much comes out when I brush it I'm wondering if the LDN has anything to do with it? Has anyone any info they can share about this?t happened a few years ago and the culprit turned out to be the Gabapentin (SP?) I was taking but I have been off that drug for a few years.
