Hi all,

My daughter (cp related loe muscle tone)has a hard time making correct

sentences. A lack of English grammar, since she is bilingual. I am not the

perfect model as far as English language. So what is the quickest way to get

that right.

Any suggestions.

Hi Eveline and welcome!

You don't provide enough information to know how to answer. How old is your

child? What state or country do you live in? Other than CP which is a mix of

both high and low tone- any other diagnosis specific to speech? Who has she

been diagnosed by; what type of professionals? If in school what grade and

placement?

We have quite a few members that are bilingual who have been able to continue

speaking in both languages with their child who is speech impaired- this has

come up much in the archives.

Let me know the answers to at least some of the above and I'm sure we can at

least provide some insight to help!

Read to her! Any teacher will tell you that reading to babies all the way thru

school age is part of the way they learn correct grammar, how to read left-right

and all that good stuff. than getting them to read to you.

Sometimes, people can get SSD or SSI by applying with multiple problems, such as

yours. File the papers yourself and document all your symptoms.

Scoliosis Treatment

Does anyone know if scoliosis can help get SSI? Only reason I ask I been

trying to get it for years. I have a fracture in my mid back they found the

scoliosis, fibro disease, and osteroposis. My hands are bothering me when

writing now. I am not able to work I can only stand for about 10 minutes.

Setting hurts too. My doctor hasn't wrote a note saying I can't work. I

may have to ask the specialist. We in Michigan my husband lost his job 3

years ago he just doing odd jobs and some jobs on line.

Any suggestion on how to get the system to work for you?
