Hi Everyone,

I'm a newbie and have been reading and lurking... I notice that in

all the posts with recipes and making drinks, you all include

sucralose. I did a little search on it and found to my dismay a lot

of alarming reports and far as what it does to the human body.. they

have not done much testing especially long term and it sure looks

like it may be very terrible in the long run... Have you discussed

this yet? I would sure like to know your views on this! I am using

stevia, and I find it is OK, and probably not as wonderful as the

taste of Splenda, but I certainly don't want to defeat my long term

progress... I did try Splenda some time ago for a few months and I

did consume it regularly over this period, and I had terrible

digestive problems ... I did not put the two together until I was so

misrable to find a solution that I stopped the Splenda, and Voila!

My problem was solved! ly, I probably would be using

sucralose, if it didn't have such a severe reaction to my

digestion.. but it does concern me and am interested in getting some

feedback on this...I sure like my progress so far on the

diet/lifestyle etc.. I've lost 2 1/2 Lbs in about a week and a

half.. much more than I expected...since I am 57 years old and the

pounds really want to stick to me at this age... Hah! But I am

being diligent and love reading all the great posts cuz it really is

a great inspiration and fabulous support for doing CR...

Take Care,

Gretchen
