Really interesting studies concerning nutrition and brain issues

My son's godmother, and mother to a child with multi-concussion syndrome (soccer

player), just found books by Dr. Amen. He's done a ton of work with

brain imaging, and helping overcome brain-realted issues through nutritional

supplementation. He runs the Amen Clinic, and comes pretty highly recommended.

I have just started reading his book " Magnificent Mind at Any Age, " and he

explains why the EPA to DHA ration we see working so well in our kids works (EPA

is a stimulant to the brain). His basic theory is that in people with

neurological issues, the brain is missing something it needs to function. Maybe

this could help with the fish oil and NV research? I'm waiting for his office

to open, as they are on PST, to see what, if any apraxia research he has done.

He has done autism, ADD, and others, so I thought it might be worth a try.....
