Guest guest
I'm new. I have a question, I went to a small seminar and picked up a pamphlet for nourish life speak...but researched and decided it is too questionable. I do want to start my daughter on omega and vit E ....but how do you know what is a good brand and how much? Does anyone use a specific brand that they have seen work? My daughter had brain surgery at 8 months old due to catastrophic epilepsy due to a brain lesion. She is now 4.5 years old and overall developmentally delayed, but very smart and has huge vocabulary receptively, but has very limited expressive or functional speech. We are looking for something to help her get these words out and from suggestions from developmental ped, she suggested omega 3 / fish oil, but did not specify amount or brand . If anyone can give suggestions on what you use and what you like best, that would be great. And what should I look for in the ingredients? I know for it to be purified to reduce and eliminate mercury. Anything else to look for? Also, she is diagnosed with PDD -NOS. I am also interested in the omega for my son who ( in my opinion) is borderline ADD...and read it is beneficial for him too ( he is 6 years old) . He is fine behaviorally, and is very bright also, just the teacher is noticing some inability to focus and lack of attention. Any suggestions with that? Thanks so much....
