Guest guest
Hi, Does anyone know about the corelation of Vitamin A with speech difficulties such as phonological disorder and/or stammering? My daughter who is almost 4 has a phonological disorder (speech not clear) and for last 4 months has started stammering too. Some days the stammering is very bad (tongue might hang out on a word, spit comes out when she talks) and some days she does not stammer at all. There is no real pattern that we could figure out. One of the old homoeopathy type consultants has told me to give her turmeric and Aquasol A (25,000 IU daily of Vitamin A in a water soluble form)and has guaranteed totaly resolution of her speech problems by 31st Dec'10 (approx. 45 days from now). One of my friends had a kid with similar issues some years ago and this gentleman had given her medicines which she says worked miracles for her kid. This gentleman tells me what he has suggested for my daughter is exactly the same though my friend is unable to confirm/deny because she does not remember the name of the medicine. Looking for some advice/help on this please. Thanks, Nikunj
