Redefining the Future for People with Disabilities

Good Morning

My name is Ellen Chapin. Iam an employee of the Department of

Campus Recreation at MontclairState University and a member of the

organization Rec Board. On December 12, 2010 Campus Recreation will be

hosting our second annual Special Friends Day. I am extending this

invitation to you, in order to provide the opportunity and information to

the youth.

Thisevent invites youths with special needs to enjoy a

fun-filled day atthe Student Recreation Center and spend the day with two

collegestudents. Participants will be accompanied by two " buddies "

whileenjoying many fun activities and events throughout the facility.

Ourevent celebrations consist of fun activities, games, food and a

greatexperience for the youth. We collaborate withother organizations on

campus to provide a safe and exciting day forthe participants. This year

Special Friends Day has a Disney theme!

If your child wants to participate in this fun opportunity,

complete the Special Friends Day Registration Form

Please note that space this year will be limited to the first 100

participants. We will contact you to let you know if your child has been

successfully registered in the first 100 spots.
