Guest guest
My son has been on Nutriiveda for a couple months. We haven't experienced the huge surges that others have mentioned here, but there have been some changes in his speech production, overall temperament and attention span. He is in a new classroom this year with amazing staff so it's hard to determine if that is the main reason we have seen progress or if NV is playing a part. The main thing we have noticed on NV is a major decrease in his drooling which is not something I have seen anyone else mention. We went out of town and forgot to bring it with us for a couple days and the constant drooling returned so we are pretty confident the NV plays the major role in the decrease of drooling. While we have been thrilled with the decrease and were hoping that indicated more oral awareness on his part, I'm now wondering if it has something to do with fluid intake. I have seen multiple mentions of the need for adequate hydration. My question is whether the amount of hydration you mention (.6 ounces per pound) is strictly water, or can I include his milk and juice in that calculation? Also, my son is scheduled for an MRI and spinal tap in a couple weeks. I was wondering if the Nutriiveda would alter results in any way. I'm just wondering if I should discontinue it for the week leading up to the test in order to get a clearer picture of his actual chemistry.
