Guest guest
I am looking for recommendations for fish oil brand / dosage for my 22mo son - he is about 28lbs. We are going to see a developmental pediatric neurologist in Feb (first appt I could get) and he is in Early Intervention speech. I can't seem to get any dosage info for a child this young. Also concerned about the Vit A that seems to be in a lot of oils. Thanks.
Guest guest
Re: Fish Oil. I can't get an appt with a developmental ped until Feb 2011 so I have been reading everything I can about fish oil. My main question - can it hurt? I see Nordic Naturals make " kids versions " and " adult versions " . Is there such a thing as too much of EPA or DHA? ________________________________ From: Colleen <cedando@...> Sent: Fri, December 17, 2010 9:04:19 AM Subject: [ ] Fish oil My daughter is 3 1/2 and has severe motor and speech apraxia. I am beginning to look into suppliments that may help her. She also has a genetic deletion and a history of infantile spasms. I thought I had read at some point in the last few years that fish oil can cause seizures. In doing research recently, all I find is the opposite effect. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this? Also, what types of fish oil and dosages are appropriate? Thanks!
