Guest guest
My husband was a skeptic about fish oil. So of course, when I mentioned Nutriiveda, he wasn't on board with it either. Today he changed his mind. I mentioned that 's speech hadn't been that great over the past two days. We were hearing a lot of slurred words, less eye contact, less focus and simpler sentences. I chalked it up to getting over a cold when my husband, came clean and admitted he had forgotten to buy more ice cream and hence...hadn't given Coop his nutriiveda shake in two days! watches the boys in the morning while I work and is usually the one who gives the majority of his Nutriiveda. I give him a small amount when he gets home from preschool in the afternoons. So basically, we had gone from 2 scoops a day to 1/2 of a scoop a day....and we saw a dramatic difference! I wasn't surprised, but was shocked. Beyond shocked. I think he was actually scared that the results couldn't be reversed. This is the first time that we have seen what would be like without Nutriiveda, and it wasn't easy. I'm hoping he'll be back to his full self tomorrow since I stocked the freezer with ice cream tonight! Hoping, hoping, hoping! Guest guest
Don't worry -it comes right back. When taken off or dosage reduced either on purpose or by accident they regress it seems as quick or quicker than the surge. Now you understand what I'm saying however -why would our kids regress that much when they are still on it with a reduced dosage??? I mean- I understand if we totally take them off -but to regress when still on it? That's why I say it's dosage dependent. But don't worry Gretchen -it's just like fish oil and the surges come right back. You should video the regression now and then the surge since it will be that quick!!! =====
Guest guest
What is going on with our Hubbies? My husband often forgets that it is Garbage Day..... he also " conveniently forgets " to check the filters of our Fridg Water Filtration System.... he " forgets " about the outdoor Hot Tub chemicals as well..... he still has not mastered the concept that " dirty laundry needs to be placed in the laundry bin " ..... and he has zero understanding that it is completely inappropriate to place a new roll of toilet paper ON the wall installed roller.... RATHAR THAN ON TOP of the empty roll! HE DOES have the ability to remember bizarre info about each and every Pittsburgh Steeler Football Player.... or each and every Pittsburgh Penguin (Hockey) Player! I could just SCREAM at times! LOL! Our first week with our Son on NV was affected due to this. My little guy was not getting his " full dose " . I should also mention that my " typical 5 year old daughter " went from watching " PBS Sprout " to " " Nickelodian " in one day...... the day that I went shopping alone... and left the kids with their daddy! I now DESPISE Sponge Bob..... and I am even more annoyed with " I Carly " ! I DO love NV.... and what it is doing for my Son..... my hubby notices it as well..... it is interesting.... my hubby now REMEMBERS about the NV...... he will say " Honey- did he have his last half Scoop " ? I might complain about my hubby at times..... but he is truly one of the most caring souls that I have ever known in my life.... he is a bit absent minded at times...... and massively overboard in regard to Sporting Events on others..... BUT-- he is 100% " there " for me and the kids when we need him. NV is now " right up there " in his " Mental Priorities " ..... Gee- now I need to figure out how to get him to change our Cat's Litter Boxes prior to Garbage Day! LOL
Guest guest
LOL...so true. Well, I have a little suggestion about that. We are pretty busy around here. My husband is the one that gets the kids ready in the morning and takes them to day care and I pick them up around 1pm. Well, it's kinda of a pain to always call, text to try to figure it out how many scoops he gave him, if he remembered, forgot...etc. So I came up with a little system. I put the 1 1/2 scoops in a little container with a lid every morning before I leave. Usually we split the dosage so my husband just put half of the amount that it is in the container in his milk in the morning and when I get home, I use the remaining amount in the container. That way, if he for some reason forgets to give it to him in the morning, I just use whatever is left in the little container...in the afternoon or later at dinner. It's been working very well...I just make sure that all the powder I put there in the morning in the container is gone by the end of the day!! :-) > > What is going on with our Hubbies? > > My husband often forgets that it is Garbage Day..... he also " conveniently > forgets " to check the filters of our Fridg Water Filtration System.... he > " forgets " about the outdoor Hot Tub chemicals as well..... he still has > not mastered the concept that " dirty laundry needs to be placed in the laundry > bin " ..... and he has zero understanding that it is completely > inappropriate to place a new roll of toilet paper ON the wall installed roller.... > RATHAR THAN ON TOP of the empty roll! > > HE DOES have the ability to remember bizarre info about each and every > Pittsburgh Steeler Football Player.... or each and every Pittsburgh Penguin > (Hockey) Player! Guest guest
Now that you put him back on the nutriveda is his speech improved again? I hope too.
