Guest guest
We are not sure if my son is a late speech developer or has apraxia we know that he has oral motor delays. Is it standard to see a neurologist to determine if there is brain damage?
Guest guest
You have a lawsuit in my opinion w/hospital. Call the dr back and demand to speak to the office mgr to complain. If she doesn't get u the appt tell them u will file a complaint with the licensing and medical board. Trust me they will move on this as this will cost them money and time and they don't want the state snooping. I have one now but he is very hard to get in to see. I was hospitalized in the begining of June for an LP that went bad and still have not got an appointment to see him. His office staff said they would get a message to him and they would get back to me. Many calls later I am still without and appointmnet. The LP was followed by a blood patch which air was shot in to my brain from(didnt know that could happen). I couldnt move my left leg and arm when it was time to go and my head felt like the top was going to slide off. A CT scan was done and I was admitted to the hospital for having air in the top of my brain(horrible pain). After 5plus weeks I am still having issues from this. Personality changes, can't sleep, more migraines, arm, neck leg, pain (more than I had)..the list goes on,forgive me for rambling. But if anyone can suggest a neuro I would greatly appreciate it. Guest guest
I agree and I would also call the administrator of the hospital, patient services and your local medical and legal review boards. Or have a family member call for you. Best wishes for an acceptable recovery.
