Guest guest
Hello, My kids are on NV for several months now and seem to be doing well. My oldest has gained some much needed weight, and I think it is helping his gut to heal. My question is the consistency seems to have become thicker since we first started using it, and I was wondering if anyone has any tricks to thin it out, other than adding loads of liquids. Thanks, Kathy
Guest guest
Hey Kathy! I haven't noticed that but if you don't use it right away it does thicken, or if you use a blender and mix it too much it gets super thick too. I use mostly water now with a splash of chocolate almond milk for both the chocolate and vanilla in my family (my one son loves vanilla and the rest of us love the chocolate) and just blend it quickly or use a shaker cup to make it. Do you add ice or anything? Oh and PS -just wanted to say that yes you will see the most dramatic surges quickly as pointed out here http://pursuitofresearch.com/pursuit-of-research/ but within 3 to 6 months if you don't increase dosage you won't see dramatic surges as often -and we have noticed dramatic surges in just about all in just a few months. 's one apraxic son at 5 and a half went from severe to mild apraxic according to the professionals who oversee him at Kent University for example. I also have 's child's story here too which is amazing. http://pursuitofresearch.com/2010/11/22/is-nutriiveda-creating-a-paradigm-shift-\ in-treatment-of-speech-impairments/ But at this point the choice is to either stop the NV, increase, or just continue at the same dosage. As one who has continued at the same dosage now for just over one year I can tell you (and you know if you are a member here for the past year) that the surges don't stop -but they are reported less often -but for sure things you would not have seen without the NV in my opinion. I suspect HIGHLY this is helping with neuro repair in some way as I write here http://pursuitofresearch.com/2010/11/22/neurogenesis-does-mother-nature-know-bes\ t/ and here http://pursuitofresearch.com/2010/12/10/mitochondrial-dysfunction-in-autism-and-\ other-disorders-can-diet-help/ It will be interesting to compare notes with those that stopped and those that continue over time. Both sets have children that progressed to start -but to see how much further those that stay on it go. I'm sure research will answer questions on this in the future -but in the meantime I appreciate all that share their updates! Happy Holidays! =====
