Guest guest
My 2 1/2 year old is just starting to put 2 words together when prompted. She will repeat them over and over though often in no particular order. For example, for more juice, she will say, " Mo ju, mo, mo, ju, mo, ju, mo, mo. " She says the 2 word approximations, but doesn't seem to recognize that she should stop at just the 2 words. I don't remember seeing mention of this here. Has anyone else experienced this? Guest guest
Our appraxic daughter did the same thing. Actually, if I remember correctly, it is one of the classic signs of appraxia. One the mouth starts to move, they can not stop it and say the same thing over and over again. For our daughter it was mamadadamamadada. Not quite the same today, but she still has issues with this. It is improving on NV. Sandy
