Guest guest
Hi ,  So glad to read about all the great things happening. I just wanted to mention my daughter also had diarrhea and some days lots of it. She also had the stomach flu though which my husband and eldest son had. I think that part of the diarrhea was due to the Nutriiveda because it lasted on and off for two weeks. My daughter had never had diarrhea for that long a period before. I think it is clearing the gut and intestines for kids that need it. It is also probably removing toxins and clearing out yeast as it does have biotin in it like another mom pointed out to me when I posted on the diarrhea.  So after the two weeks the diarrhea stopped. She got plenty of liquids while this was going on though to be hydrated. Now whenever she poops (which are normal now) she also passes a lot of gas so that means to me that she is clearing out things that have been in her system probably for a long time.  Just wanted to add my thoughts on this.  Demi From: vhlondon <vhlondon@...> Subject: [ ] Nutriiveda and Diahrrea Date: Saturday, March 6, 2010, 11:49 AM  So this is the end of the second week for my son taking NV and we have seen some major, major changes. He is more involved, more aware of things and improving with speech. Just a few minutes ago, he pushed his sister because she was getting one of his toys. I put him on time out and after he was there for while, I talked to him and asked him if he knew what he had done. His answer: " Nichael pushed baby " . First of all he has been speaking in three words sentences which is a huge improvement. Before NV, he would go to time out and just cry. I've always tried to explain to him what he did wrong and then told him to say sorry...before he would just listen, not sure if he was really paying attention and then say sorry after I asked a few times. Now he answers to my question, explain what he did wrong, use his words..I mean..this is HUGE!! About three weeks ago he STARTED putting TWO words together (we started NV two weeks ago). Although I think that part of it was from hours of speech therapy trying to get him to build sentences, I believe that NV has helped tremendously. ..he is know saying two words sentences 80% of the time and three words sentences about 20-30% of the time...which is AMAZING. He tells us about his day in school and day care. It's awesome! Now, as I posted before...he still has diarrhea and I don't know what to do. It is pretty bad. The other day we even got called to his day care because it was all over (pants, shoes) and he needed to take a bath prior to going to preschool that day. It was that bad.I have lower his dosage to 1 to 1 1/2 scoops/day but I've been reading here so much about the regressions even with lowering the dosage...and even with the lower dosages that he is now, the diarrhea continues. I don't know if I should just stop at this point. I would hate to stop NV or lower the dosage so much and see regressions. Any suggestions? ?? Guest guest
Ditto what Demi said - had lots of that here, too! And here it lasted off and on these entire past two weeks, but now (fingers crossed) it seems to have resolved, so perhaps hang in there a few more days?
