Guest guest
I give him aprox 1 gelcap and less than 1/2 of another one. I empty the gels into a dropper bottle. The dropper bottle has marks on it. Each pill equals 1 ml/cc + a little, so its pretty easy to see how much I am giving him. I give it to him in the morning with breakfast usually. I give him 1 CC+ and about 1/3 of a cc in the dropper. I used an old Herbs For Kids bottle that I emptied out. I store it in the fridge. Are you giving it in the morning? Thanks. Darlene > > > > Thanks for sharing -I so agree that the higher EPA works better. Increase to two only after the surge isn't that great anymore. When you hit the second plateau, sometime after a few months, that's when it's good to try upping the EPA a bit by squeezing a bit in to the mix. If you do it gradually, then you can see what is working best for your child. > > > > This is just my viewpoint. Please feel free to share or disagree. Guest guest
, Nichael will turn 5 in March and he has been on the 2:1 ration since 3years old. We tried to increase the EPA to see if it would make a difference but I he got way hyper. I only did it for about 4 days on two different occasions and I did 2 EFA and 2 EPA. He never really had a huge surge when we first started, but I do notice regression when he does not take them and a HUGE difference on his behavior as he gets a way hyper without his fish oils. What do you suggest at this point? When you increase the EPA, did you increase EFA as well? I think that 4 days was probably not enough to let his body adjust, but I was just hesitant at the time if I was doing the right thing. As far as NV, I have yet to right our experiences and post videos, etc..., but I KNOW FOR SURE that it helps. We stopped NV two different times for different reasons, but we did see a huge regression and like most here, he caught up after we start giving it to him again! :-) As well as the fish oils, they are not right away surges, they come slow...but it has been steady and the times where we stopped, his articulation was really bad...he was not saying words that he had learned, his behavior was worst as well as his attention! I just think that more fish oils would also help him but I'm having a hard time trying to figure it out dosages,etc... Thanks for you help! London From: kiddietalk@...
