Guest guest
: Know I've been M.I.A lately - still trying to get settled and get through the Holidays, but I love hearing the updates on Tanner. It's so fantastic to hear how wonderful he's doing. Just when we think we've seen it all in regards to these kids amazing progress - they surprise us again. I love to think of not only how happy you and Glenn must be, but also of what an amazing confidence booster a night like tonight most likely is for Tanner - as if he hasn't had huge reasons for confidence boosting in the last year anyway!! What a wonderful thing! So much " good stuff " for us to be thankful for during this Holiday season. Sharon > > Just noticed another Tanner change that I have to point out -so awesome. Typically in basketball Tanner when he runs up and down the court after the first few times you can tell he is winded -even from the stands you can see he starts what I in my head think of as half way running (as if he is knowing " well I will be running back the other way in a second so why not get a head start? " ) In general no longer trying so much. After a few times of running back and forth on the court he couldn't run fast enough to keep up with the rest of the team -and he puckered out. > > It's all gotten better since he's been on NV- but tonight was the most amazing yet -watching him I could have been watching a completely different child -no way if he had a mask on would I ever in my dreams have thought it was Tanner out there. > > Tonight for the entire game (well he didn't play the whole game but he played quite a bit) he not only RAN but he actually in one play - he THREW himself on top of the ball and then passed it while on the floor on his back to one of the other boys on his team - not something Tanner ever would do, not something he ever did - even at the start of a game when he wasn't tired yet!!! > > When he runs he also no longer looks...well instead of saying how he doesn't look I'll just say now he looks fluid and he never looked like that before -he looks fast and he never looked that way before either. > > After the game everyone was coming up to him and us and saying " Great game Tanner " He's always loved basketball -but it seems basketball is starting to love him back > > And do I credit NV...Heck yeah!!!! I may even put up improved athletic ability here http://pursuitofresearch.com/pursuit-of-research/ because most of the other reports are for swimming, bike riding and karate -but please do let me know if you are reading this and like me have seen dramatic changes in athletic ability- I mean night and day (again don't want to say what it was like before -but waaaay different!!!) For those that don't know Tanner has been diagnosed with hypotonia, apraxia, sensory issues and he's had motor planning issues in the body -most resolved due to therapy, appropriate school placement, fish oils for years, and the amazing NV which made him surge even beyond our wildest dreams past normal to above average in many areas. > > Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to all!!! > > ===== >
