Comparison of Nutriiveda to Carnation Instant Breakfast

Since I joked the other day that Nutriiveda is if you water it down is not much

different than say a Carnation Instant Breakfast if it was sold at Whole

Foods.... that is if Carnation Instant Breakfast made a version that was gluten,

casein, fat, sodium, caffeine free, 100 percent natural and low sugar and tested

with the most stringent standards to be the highest quality product, highest

quality isolate protein formulated and endorsed by leading doctors

etc....thought it would be good to compare the two formally since one of the

following people all over use every day without thinking twice about it -and the

other is having remarkable therapeutic affects on our children for some reason

Definition of some of the ingredients:

Maltodextrin: a polysaccharide that is used as a food additive. It is produced

from starch by partial hydrolysis

Cellulose Gum: Cellulose gum is a substance commonly found in many household

products, from certain foods to hair gels and laxatives.

Dicalcium Phosphate: Dicalcium phosphate, also known as calcium monohydrogen

phosphate, is a dibasic calcium phosphate. It is usually found as the dihydrate,

with the chemical formula of CaHPO4 • 2H2O, but it can be thermally converted to

the anhydrous form. It is practically insoluble in water, with a solubility of

0.02 g per 100 mL at 25 °C. It contains about 23 percent calcium in its

anyhydrous form, and is mainly used as a dietary supplement in prepared

breakfast cereals, enriched flour, and noodle products. It is also used as a

tableting agent in some pharmaceutical preparations. It is used as a feed for

Magnesium Hydroxide: The base Mg(OH)2 that occurs naturally as brucite; it is

used as an antacid and in many industrial processes

as well and find out if s/he would recommend and approve nutriiveda as a

healthier version of " instant breakfast " instead.
