Looking for a ped neuro in the So Cal (Orange County) area

Hi all ~ I'm looking to find a ped neurologist or developmental ped in the

Orange County, CA area who is familiar with apraxia. Our SLP has told us our

son is apraxic, though she's not quite ready to put it in writing, so to speak.

(Though she's very adamant that that's what he has, and several other therapists

from SLPs to OTs have also brought up apraxia to me before.)

Anyway, we're going through the IEP process right now (our son turns 3 in

April), and I'm worried the school is going to try to argue that he's not really

apraxic, and therefore a language-based class is what he needs. I wanted to see

if I can get an outside MD to look at him and confirm the CAS diagnosis, so I

can at least have that in my back pocket.
