Guest guest
A good company will get their fish from arctic sea (the cleanest sea in world) and will use fish flesh not fish liver (liver being the most dirty par of fish) Thats a couple of things to think about From: ttaniaa0000@... He told me his reasoning for working there, one day a week, was due to his 'passion' with regards to nordic naturals products. He is a strong advocator in the benefit of fish oil for several different conditons. He told me that the nordic naturals products, in his opinion, are the cleanest and 'best' availale in the world - which is why he spends one day a week working here, to be available to offer his own personal 'medical' advice over the phone to people looking into the different products offered by NN. > > Thanks Sherry -that's why I always say name brand doesn't matter just formula, dosage and (in this case) quality of the oils. I'd say in this group we pretty much just use high quality oils -but I was reading on our apraxia.org page one mom was giving her child some eBay brand you can get for 99 cents (it wasn't working) and yes in cases like that you'd have to worry about quality. > > I just got this in from Nordic: > > News Release ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > Nordic Naturals Responds to Regulatory Concerns Regarding PCBs in > > Fish Oil Products by Continuing to Provide Third-Party Lab Analysis > > ville, CA (March 3, 2010) Nordic Naturals announced today that the company’s products surpass all PCB standards set by California’s Proposition 65, the GOED voluntary monograph, and all international standards. Using the most advanced testing methods to detect PCBs, third-party tests show that Nordic Naturals products have no detectable levels at one part per trillion of Non-Ortho and Mono-Ortho PCBs (the most harmful PCBs which are not covered by Prop 65) and total PCBs are well below the Prop 65 limit of 0.09µg/kg (0.09ppm or 90ppb). > > Nordic Naturals starts with the best raw material available " fish low on the food chain, which naturally contain low levels of impurities and high levels of omega-3 fats.
