Guest guest
Good morning, I've been going to see a chiropractor for myself for two months now, the think it might be helping my issues but I no for me it is a process. Here is my question to all you chiro junkies out there. ( I mean that in a good way) My doctor wants me to let him work on Matt. He feels that the subluxations that he might have could benefit from treatment, which in turn could help with some of his " special issues " . I am not a posed to trying but I am skeptical about it being helpful. Can anyone share their view points and if it has helped your child and how. Thank you Alyssa
Guest guest
I believe in chiro. However some I find do it Snap Crackle Pop style and do the same procedure for everyone. An easy money grab. I think finding a chiro that specialize with kids would be a better route good luck Sent on the TELUS Mobility network with BlackBerry [ ] Chiropractors and children Good morning, I've been going to see a chiropractor for myself for two months now, the think it might be helping my issues but I no for me it is a process. Guest guest
My 3 kids and I all go to the chiropractor. We've been blessed to find one that uses a holistic approach and focuses on chiropractic, nutrition, a natural lifestyle, no vaccinations, etc. He uses the activator method which is the most gentle method. No cracking, just the instrument. My daughter was essentially non verbal until her first adjustment and that night she started vocalizing more. My son is off of his asthma medication for the first time in 4 years! They love it and call it a " massage. " I watched a video on how chiropractic helped children with multiple challenges at a home in Florida, and heard testimonies from the Oklahaven children's chiropractic center as well. I even watched a video portraying how much torque could be exerted and how many subluxations a child could receive in the birthing process. Chiropractors feel that these first subluxations could be responsible for many lifelong developmental issues, and even SIDS. Our central nervous system is the first part of us that is formed. It only makes sense to look to it to prevent disease and other issues. I don't know if I'm totally sold on disease prevention yet, but it is helping our family, so we will continue with it. I know there are many opinions out there, and everyone must do what they feel is right for their family. A lot depends on the individual chiropractor and his/her methods, and the right fit needs to be found.
