UC study finds children with autism have mitochondrial dysfunction

Scientists

are looking at the results of environmental damage to a child and

thinking they are seeing the cause of autism. But which came first?

Were these children's mitochondria normal before mutliple vaccines

containing heavy metals, adjuvants, toxic chemicals and bacterial and

viral contaminants as well as multiple doses of antibiotics were

administered? Blaming the mitochondria for autism is like looking at

bodies laid out on the road after a car accident and blaming the

concrete for the deaths. All the best,Meryl DoreyOn 01/12/2010, at 10:24 AM, Anne Dachel wrote:There's no mention here of Hannah Poling........UC study finds children with autism have mitochondrial dysfunction EurekAlert http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2010-11/uoc--uds112410.php Children with autism are far more likely to have deficits in their ability to produce cellular energy than are typically developing children, a new study by researchers at UC has found. The study, published today in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), found that cumulative damage and oxidative stress in mitochondria, the cell's energy producer, could influence both the onset and severity of autism, suggesting a strong link between autism and mitochondrial defects. After the heart, the brain is the most voracious consumer of energy in the body. The authors propose that deficiencies in the ability to fuel brain neurons might lead to some of the cognitive impairments associated with autism. Mitochondria are the primary source of energy production in cells and carry their own set of genetic instructions, mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA), to carry out aerobic respiration. Dysfunction in mitochondria already is associated with a number of other neurological conditions, including Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder....The researchers stress that these new findings, which may help physicians provide early diagnoses, do not identify the cause or the effects of autism, which affects as many as 1 in every 110 children in the United States, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. While previous studies have revealed hints of a connection between autism and mitochondrial dysfunction, these reports have been either anecdotal or involved tissues that might not be representative of neural metabolism."It is remarkable that evidence of mitochondrial dysfunction and changes in mitochondrial DNA were detected in the blood of these young children with autism," said Geraldine Dawson, chief science officer of Autism Speaks, which provided funding for the study. "One of the challenges has been that it has been difficult to diagnose mitochondrial dysfunction because it usually requires a muscle biopsy. If we could screen for these metabolic problems with a blood test, it would be a big step forward."

And what about kids with

autism that aren’t vaxxed? What about them?

gut dysbiosis and toxin overload can lead to mitochondrial dysfunction too. So vaccines can cause mitochondrial dysfunction but so can exposure to any number of toxic substances. If a child has gut dysbiosis, he/she cannot detoxify substances, and his or her immune system will become dysregulated (70% of immune system is in gut) which can lead to chronic immune stimulation which can lead to mitochondrial dysfunction . . . interesting question. I have posted on here how we carry a mito disorder in our

family and my cousins child ( same age as my unvaxed child) is now damaged by

the vaccines causing the disorder to manifest. She is in a wheel chair because

she cant walk or control her muscles. She now has a second child and had her

tested to see what percent of her mito was bad...and then she started

vaccinating this child, one at a time ( I swear peoples stupidity amazes me) and

i am VERY curious to see if she develops the same issues and if shee is retested

if it will show that more mitochondria is damaged. Id much prefer we didnt have

a chance to preform this little experiment though...i couldnt believe it when i

heard she was going to vax the newborn after seeing what vaxs did to her first

born.

i think those are part of the previous stat that 1 in 10,000 kids develops

autism. or its from environmental triggers. the mito disorder we have has a HUGE

list of things we need to avoid. one of them being tylenol...so who knows

That's because she still believes vaccines work. The faith in that is extremely difficult to shake free of.

I know. I have a friend in

the same boat. If she ever had another one, they’d still vax just do it

on a delayed schedule when she herself says the vaccines caused the last kid’s

autism.

It completely boggles my mind! You even acknowledge that

vaccines caused the damage?? Helllllllooo?
