Guest guest
, Can you help me? I was giving my son 1 tspn a day of the nordic naturals DHA(which has EPA,DHA and Omega 9. I recently switched to Carlson's MedOmega fish oil 2800 which has DHA1200mg and EPA1200mg. But I am reading the group emails where you are talking about Omega 6? Can you tell me which fish oil you recommend to give and what it should contain? Also, he's 3 and 38 lbs - suggested dose? Thanks so much - I want to get this right. Sent via BlackBerry by AT & T > > Cheryl no matter what you just posted a gold medal update (can you tell someone's been watching the Olympics???) But I just want to make sure that you don't fall into the old trap so many in this group do when they start fish oils and _____ (fill in the blank) that the fish oils don't get the full credit they deserve. It's like I said to you on the phone...the formula you were using which was pure Omega 3 and not high enough in the EPA was all wrong. I wish you and I had spoken SO much earlier and THRILLED to hear you are on the right track again with the right formula of O3 and O6....(sigh because I know the story behind it -how frustrating!) > > About when to start the nutriiveda...well I want to suggest you take the one step at a time one step further. > > Can you stop the new fish oils and go back to the others and just do the biofeedback for a week...and then switch - add the new -right fish oil formula ProEFA and stop the bio feedback for a week. Report back what you see with each. Fortunately with the fish oils we know that the changes are very quick and just want to make sure you don't credit something that may not even be needed which is understandable as we tend to credit the more complex and/or expensive > > All you reported is typical of the oils (or now nutriiveda too) The search just stopped working again or I was going to search for your original messages about surges back then when you started the fish oils to see if they are " ditto " . > > > ...biofeedback??? not much in the archives -but when it's came up here it's in a huge mash up of other things as in this quote from a parent: " occupational therapy (including Balametrics, Bal-A-Vis-X, NeuroNet, Interactive Metronome, biofeedback, etc.). > > I'm sure you'll find out soon enough- and at least we know the fish oils -the right formula- still works for your child...after what happened the last time -please keep it simple this time!! After what -2 weeks -start the nutriiveda. We know from now our feedback and reports from nutritional as well as medical experts that fish oils and nutriiveda are benign and both work beautifully together -but again -you want to know for sure if the biofeedback is worth the time and money to continue. Because you can always save up that money for some good ride therapy instead!!! > > ===== >
