My son will be four in March and we started NV last Sunday (he has severe

Apraxia and hypotonia and is on fish oils).

I started with 1 scoop for the first 2 days, increased to two scoops on the

third day (since he'll be 4 soon).

I'm still somewhat paying attention to his progress. Difficult thing is

that the week prior to NV, he made some huge progress, so I'm trying

to the distinguishe the progress he made that week (like starting to

put two words together. He said more fries, apple juice and many other

that he had never said before), with progress after NV. The thing that

we have notice though, is the agitation. He was very agitated the

entire week, running wild, all over the place and not listening to us

much (might be a progress?? I guess it depends on your point of

view,lol)....but during speech therapy he would not cooporate much

either. Prior to this he was doing really good during his sessions and

even staying focused during 1 hr of therapy. Today though he seamed

more like his normal self, so we are hoping that he will go back to

being more focused and we'll start seeing some improvements like it

happened with many of you here.

The reason I'm writing though is to ask if anybody has had problems

with diahrrea. My son has been very regular but some foods cause him to

go more often. Since we started the shake, his stool has been very

loose, very runny. I'm pretty much sure it's the shake and I'm not sure

what to do. I'm not thinking about stoping the shake but I feel bad. We

are giving him the chocolate, so I might order the vanilla soon...maybe

that will resolve the problem? or maybe his body will adjust?? Not

sure. Just wondering if anybody has any suggestion or if that has

happened to any of you.

Thanks.
