Guest guest
Nystatin is a prescription medication that I used when my kids were babies, normally when they got Thrush. I do remember its a very nasty tasting liquid that the doctor always said would work very well but because of its nasty taste and texture, that it would be hard to get it all into them. It should only be prescribed by a doctor??!! It would also get rid of all good and bad yeast in their system which is why some of us adviced lots and lots of good yogurt cultures while kids are on a prescribed medication like Nystatin. Cant help with behavior issues, is the behaviorist a medical doctor? Yikes!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nystatin > > we have a behavioral specialist working with us and she's " stumped. " In any case, we also know that my daughter has yeast issues and we are trying to erradicate that with " nystatin, " but because her " currency " is/was " sweets, " the behavioral specialist advised us to use some " negotiation " with sweets. (and because my basic parenting philosophy does not agree " rewarding " for EXPECTED behavior, I did use the sweets reluctantly.) Now I feel the yeast issue is worse as is her behavior this past month ---
