Guest guest
I have two toddlers with apraxia. My daughter will be three in March and she weighs approximately 28lbs. Her apraxia is secondary to a " minor " chromosomal addition (Triple X). She has behavioral issues (easy to anger/throwing things). I am guessing a small portion of this is related to her age, but we have a behavioral specialist working with us and she's " stumped. " In any case, we also know that my daughter has yeast issues and we are trying to erradicate that with " nystatin, " but because her " currency " is/was " sweets, " the behavioral specialist advised us to use some " negotiation " with sweets. (and because my basic parenting philosophy does not agree " rewarding " for EXPECTED behavior, I did use the sweets reluctantly.) Now I feel the yeast issue is worse as is her behavior this past month --- with sugar during the holiday season being prolific... so now my gut instinct tells me to take out all unnecessary sugar and I'll just have to deal with the withdrawl aftermath... she's currently taking 2 scoops of vanilla nutriiveda with a squeeze of chocolate syrup... is there any other advice? Anyone have any similar issues? Suggestions? In any case, please wish me luck... there is going to be wrath!
