Does anyone know what scales are used to measure the Social/Emotional/Adaptive

Behavior for a first grader in the Fall?----I am not signing off on the

Intellectual Development testing---but one of our SLPs who goes to IEPs more so

than the others---has given me a heads up that that other category can sometimes

trip speech kids up--due to their poor speech/language skills---but also their

built up frustrations and she said it can then connect to the Intellectual

Development if they are deemed to immature etc.

Has anyone had that experience with the Social Emotional scale sand does anyone

know what scales are going to be sued for this age group? ----I plan to ask

anyway at school for every test that will be administered I'd liek a list in

advance----I know---they're going to Love me!--But I just don't want them to

jump to any undue conclusions--I know speech/language kids are so often

misdiagnosed/misplaced in educational settings etc.

My daughter has made huge progress since her first assessment at 3 years when

she was basically non-verbal--but we have ways to go for her to be able to speak

like a typical 5 year old--and for those who do not understand where she's

coming from--her answers and reactions can seem off at times.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
