Since I posted my report, that's the question I get most often.

I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit that I've never counted my

calories. I'm just going on comfort level (not pushing myself

into prolonged or great hunger) and ideal food content. This

weekend I'll try to put together an outline of the development

of my current intake that shows the gradual reduction. Here's

a rough outline of my current intake posted to another forum,

which does not include the many supplements that I'm taking:

I have not posted anything about my own regimen. It's hard to

believe how I can eat the same thing day in and day out. At the

moment my general menu is a slice of homemade very healthy pizza

(wholegran crust, lots of tomato sause, and a vegetarian cheese

alternative with some real cheese) for lunch with vegetable

juice and added protein. Then for dinner, a big salad with

vegetable juice and protein. That's it. Although I'll snack

on some nuts in the late afternoon if I get hungry and then

often I do a half glass of V8/water 50/50 with protein before

I go to sleep, saving a little for the morning. I don't like

to allow my body to go with zero intake for too long. I also

do a handful of supplements per day, making sure I do calcium,

since bone loss is a possible problem for midlife onset CR,

though animals raised on CR have a lower rate of osteoporosis.

My vegetable juice that I make varies in content. In general

it contains organic kale, spinach, broccoli, red pepper, onion,

carrots, clove of garlic, seaweeds, vinegar, and blueberry juice.
