Guest guest
Does a child have to have at least a good amount of words, approximations in his repertoire in order for PROMPT to be appropraiate form of therapy? My son had better speech two years ago than he did last year or this year. He had a lot of speech, PROMPT included. He has been on many biomed interventions, with no gains. NV is our latest trial, two scoops daily for the last two months...not seeing anything. Any ideas? Would love to hear! Thinking of getting eval from McCarton center, yet that money will take away from speech therapy and OT. My son' s issues are slight, , no ASD, just severe in the verbal apraxia...so wondering what McCarton could possibly say that we aren't already doing. We have 20 evals from all sorts of docs and SLPs that say " do as you are doing " . thank you, mom in need of advice, Ivy
