Hi - Has anyone ever used a personal communication

passport/guide with their child? It's a booklet that

explains your child's care needs to help with transitioning

new teachers, sitters and caregivers. It's also a

communication tool because it has photos of favorite people,

things, food etc. so your child can " talk " about things with

peers and classmates. I'm working on one for my son and

would love to hear any tips or success stories you may have.

Did you (parent make it) or did your child's teacher?

Thanks for your help,

Randi, MA

Mom to handsome Graham (13 yo w/CP for lack of a better

diagnosis, hypotonia, AAC & AT user)
