Guest guest
Hi, all! Kit #2 addresses sequencing for complex consonants " s, sh, k, g, f, l " as well as " r " and " l " blends. Also included in Kit #2 are cards for sequencing between tip alveolar ( " t " and " d " ) and velar ( " k " and " g " ) phonemes. These would include words such as " dock, garden, tickle. " You can also find sections of cards for bi-syllabic and poly-syllabic words using these consonants which would be words like " chicken " and " octopus. " In case you weren't aware, the Kaufman Speech Praxis Workout Book is an excellent addition to work in Kit #1. It addresses the child's ability to increase utterance length with clarity. Also, has a super cool puzzle coming out soon that uses all of the Mutt Family from the workout book. Again, this gives the kids opportunities to practice sequencing skills in increased utterance lengths. I've tried it with some of my kids at the clinic and they just LOVE it:) Hope this helps! , SLP From: cathykarcher@... I've always wondered where they go after they finish working on the first kit.
