wouldn't get the high levels of A and D that you would in cod liver

oil, but there appear from his article to be so many other advantages

to the krill oil. I wonder if you could combine them.

Krill oil is very good---but different---I sometimes give it to my daughter in

addition to the PRoEFA/EPA oils and I also add more GLA--as per her doctor since

she haseczemas and such skin issues. So some kids do need different oil

combinations for sure---but as far as liking the krill oil better--flavor

-wise---I don't think so--it is even stronger tasting and if he can't swallow

capsules----well it's really even more fishy as far as I am concerned. Good to

give in addition to---but I wouldn't do it instead of---it's for a different

purpose--The Pro EFA/EPA blends work well for kids with speech issues. They need

the oils because of deficiencies and they need therapeutic doses--not just

maintenance. You ca try adding some krill oil in the mix and see if he does

better----but don't count on it being better for speech or less fishy tasting

because it's not the case---it's just another variety of these good Omega 3s.

Hope this helps.

I too have been interested in adding krill oil to the mix. But I've held

back, not wanting to give anything with toxins. Can anyone recommend a safe

brand. The Whole Foods near my house only carries the Jarrow brand.

Thanks!
