Shining Light on the Spectrum: Increasing Awareness of the Five Pervasive

Developmental Disorders will present to the audience an overview of the 5

Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDDs) with special emphases on Asperger's

and Autistic Disorder. Learn more about the various symptoms and associated

features found in Asperger's and Autism from Dr. Jeanne Marron, Clinical

Director of Asperger's Related Services at West Bergen. Gain a glimpse of

what it is like to have significant social challenges as Kunert and

Lawson moderate a panel of adolescents and adults who will share

their first hand experiences of difficulties and triumphs. Time will be set

aside for questions from the audience.

If you are already familiar with the PDDs or have first hand experience,

then bring a family member, friend, colleague, coach, educator, employer,

neighbor or someone who may cross the path of individuals on the spectrum

and benefit from this FREE presentation. Given the rates of PDDs in this

geographical area, that means just about anyone!
