I just had to update everyone that we have continued to see some really

unbelievable improvements with my son's speech since we have added NV to his

fish oil at Christmas. I know that others that see changes from day one too, but

even still we are amazed. He's not just repeating words, he's saying sentences,

I would even say he's become conversational! And his imagination continues to

grow. I wrote how I listen to him play now and it's music to my ears. The

other day he was playing iwth a toy bus, loading the all the kids on and off and

talking to them, and having them talk back and to each other. Last night we

watched Beverly Hills Chihawhua 2 and he asked me if we could " make popcorn for

the movie " It's not that his speech is super clear and perfect but he's

talking and we can understand him much of the time. Now he tells us when he

wants to do something or not and his tantrums have virtually disappeared. I

NEVER thought this day would come, certainly not this quickly. I remember just

a few months ago reading all the NV updates and thought " yea, right, that will

never happen for us " My husband asked me last night if we know how long our son

has to take the NV for. I know there was something written about this for 6

months or a year? I could not find it at http://www.pursuitofresearch.org Also

we have been pretty much letting my son have whatever he wants now that he can

actually ask for it. How do others handle saying no when their child first

starts talking? This is all happening so quickly and I feel like I went from

beginner to advanced in the verbal area. From the bottom of my heart I want to

thank all of you here for being here. If it wasn't for this group my son would

never be where he is today. Thank you!!!! Kate

of Vinny & Lily being on NV that things still improve!!

Best product ever created!

Oh Kate I'm so happy for you and your son!!!! I do remember how long it took

for you to even first try NV and I am so happy you did!!! (I'm sure you are

too)

About giving in to everything...yes we all do that at first. Two words for a

few months and years from now that you'll want to recall are " damage control "

Yes our kids do tend to become a bit more spoiled into expecting to get away

with getting what they want, being able to say things they shouldn't while

instead of us scolding them -we are thrilled that they just said " shut up " to

their brother " so clearly! "

But you know what -it does all work out because you too will start to accept

that your child is now verbal and there will be a day that you will scold him

for saying the wrong thing, say no to his demands, and even tell him to be quiet

while you are on the phone. These are all things we all can't believe we'll

ever dream of -but it happens. And trust me -the sooner the better/less damage

control. Fish oils helped it happen sooner -and NV accelerated even the fish

oils!

I'd love to put your testimony up on the testimony page-

http://pursuitofresearch.org/products/nutriiveda/nutriiveda-testimonials/ and

have you explain why it took you so long to start as I have a feeling that

whatever held you back is typical. I kind of explain this here

http://pursuitofresearch.org/2011/01/28/taco-bell-eat-first-ask-questions-later/

how we tend to not question much of the stuff we feed our kids -don't even take

a look no less Google to find out risks and dangers of synthetic contaminants,

preservatives, artificial ingredients and all the other stuff that's hard to

pronounce if you take a look at most ingredient labels.

On the other hand -here's the ingredient label of NV which is not only over

analyzed but many of us are fearful of using until it's approved by doctors

http://pursuitofresearch.org/products/nutriiveda/nutriiveda-ingredients/

Nothing wrong with that and I recommend that you do ask, but mainly because

medical and nutritional experts embrace it for what it is -healthy...on the

other hand...imagine calling your child's doctor to ask if you can feed him a

frozen food section corn dog or something :)

Again CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
