Ultimate Omega vs EPA vs Omega 3/6/9 (sorry for all the omega questions)

I have been using ultimate omega (from what I read, it's the same as EPA but a

different dose) for a about a month or so on my son and I see a difference in

where he is attempting new words. He isn't officially disgnosed apraxic by the

way but he does have a speech disorder. I just switched him onto 3/6/9 as of

this past sundy (2 capsules a day) and he doesn't seem to be doing as well. He

stopped trying to say any words and overall he just seems different, not really

focused. I am hoping it is just a coincedence and that I need to give it more

time, especially because I literally just started to give it to him. I thought

I read on the apraxia boards that 3/6/9 is suppose to give the best result. My

questions are:

Can I use Ultimate Omega with 3/6/9 instead of using EPA with 3/6/9?

OR Can I use Ultimate Omega with borage (sp?) oil and eliminate the 3/6/9

completely? I would rather do this.

I would rather not eliminate the Ultimate Omega at all. I know I just started

the 369 and I plan on giving it a while before switching back but so far I am

not comfortable using it. It's such a lower dose of omegas.
