Lucy Lucy: there is some controversy on this. Some members ARE taking fosamax; some not. I am on something entirely different called " Miacalcin " which you spray up your nose. to my knowledge I'm the only CR person on this medication but my doctor who I trust switched me from Evista to this. No side effects and much pleasanter than Evista for me. I was getting mood swings (depression) with Evista which is hormonally based. BTW mambo (I believe) is a guy and Evista is for women only.
